With over 38 years of leadership in engineering and education, Professor Er Meng Hwa has held senior positions at NTU, including Deputy President, Acting Provost, and Vice President (International Affairs). A pioneer in satellite communications, he led Singapore's first micro-satellite launch, X-Sat, and secured S$49 million in research grants. His accolades include the Honorary Fellowship from the Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE) and the Public Administration Medal (Gold) from the President of Singapore. Professor Er also advises top institutions globally, including Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the University of Oman.

Mario Favaits brings more than 25 years of leadership across the automotive, railway, technology and public-transport sectors. He is CEO of Rainmakers SG and a Fellow at the National University of Singapore, and has held senior roles at Oracle, Siemens and SMRT, where he served on the Executive Leadership Team. As an advisor and facilitator at BCG, he helps Singapore SMEs navigate digital transformation, go-to-market strategy and AI adoption, and he has partnered with Deloitte to design AI programmes for business leaders. As a member of the PPIC Technologies Board of Directors, his expertise in AI strategy helps steer the company's growth.
